On May 14, Bactiguard Holding AB (publ) held its 2024 Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Stockholm. We welcomed our shareholders, Board of Directors, and other guests who, in addition to participating in the formalities of the meeting, were eager to listen to presentations from outgoing Chairman and founder Christian Kinch, ex-CEO and re-elected Chairman Thomas von Koch, and newly appointed CEO Christine Lind. These presentations provided a comprehensive overview of the company’s progress and strategic direction.

Christian Kinch delivered an inspiring farewell address as he stepped down as Chairman of the Board to assume a new role as Senior Advisor to Bactiguard. “I’m standing here with great pride witnessing the final graduation of Bactiguard. It is about time to unlock the full potential,” he stated. Thomas von Koch elaborated on Bactiguard’s vision of becoming the global standard of care: “It is an inspiring and demanding vision. If we become the global standard of care, we will be on EVERY device.” Christine Lind, who assumed the role of CEO a month earlier, outlined the strategy for Bactiguard, focusing on strategic priorities to achieve profitability and sustainable growth and how we champion a healthier world by preventing infections.
