Highlights from Wound Management by Bactiguard at EWMA 2024 

Wound Management by Bactiguard participated in the 34th European Wound Management Association (EWMA) Conference, held in May 2024 in London, UK. EWMA is recognized as the premier international conference for wound care, attracting leading experts, researchers, and healthcare professionals from around the world. 

This year’s EWMA Conference featured almost 5,000 registered participants from 94 countries, 669 presentations, 733 e-posters, and 165 exhibitors. The conference provided a platform for knowledge exchange and showcasing the latest advancements in wound care. 

Bactiguard’s Hydrocyn aqua booth was a hub of activity throughout the conference, drawing approximately 3,000 visitors. The engagement at our booth underscored the global interest in our innovative wound management solutions, particularly Hydrocyn aqua®. We received over 500 specific requests and expressions of interest, highlighting the industry’s recognition of the effectiveness and safety of our products.

 In addition, Bactiguard also hosted its second Global Stand-Alone Meeting under the theme “Clean to Heal: Paradigm Shift Made Easy,” coinciding with the opening day of EWMA. This exclusive event drew a focused group of 50 participants, including leading healthcare professionals and industry experts, providing a unique platform for in-depth discussions on the latest advancements in infection prevention and wound care. 

The meeting included presentations by Prof Harikrishna ML , Dr. Prash, Maureen Bates, and Dr. Clericci, who shared their valuable insights and experiences with Bactiguard’s innovative technologies and their applications in clinical settings.
